Traveller Transparency

Partner & Affiliate Disclosure

Sometimes Thrill My Guide may recommend or connect travellers with services provided by another company. We want it to be clear when you are dealing with TMG and when another provider is responsible for the booking.

Clear Commercial Relationships

Clear Booking Responsibility

Traveller First

Why This Page Exists

A recommendation should not hide who is actually providing the service.

Thrill My Guide may design and sell some journeys directly, while other travel services may be supplied, fulfilled or booked through selected third parties. In some cases a link may also be an affiliate link, which means TMG may receive a commission if a traveller completes a qualifying purchase.

This disclosure explains the difference so that travellers can understand who controls the service, payment, cancellation, availability and support before making a decision.

Two Different Situations

Is TMG providing the journey, or referring you to somebody else?

TMG Journey

When Thrill My Guide is your contracting travel provider

Where TMG directly sells or contracts the journey with you, your quotation, booking confirmation, itinerary and applicable TMG terms should identify what TMG is responsible for and which suppliers may fulfil individual components.

Partner Service

When another company provides the booking

Where you follow a partner or affiliate link and complete the booking with another provider, that provider normally controls its inventory, price, payment process, confirmation, cancellation rules and applicable customer support.

Affiliate Relationships

TMG may receive a commission from some partner bookings.

Commission

Where a qualifying affiliate relationship applies, TMG may receive a commission or referral fee after a traveller makes an eligible booking or purchase.

Your Price

TMG does not assume that an affiliate link changes or does not change the traveller’s price. The price shown by the external provider at the time of booking is the price that should be checked before payment.

Recommendation Independence

A commercial relationship should not be presented as proof that a service is the best option for every traveller. Fit, timing, availability, price and traveller needs still matter.

Who Controls What

Check responsibility before completing a partner booking.

Inventory & Availability

External providers control their own rooms, seats, activities, time slots and other inventory unless your TMG confirmation says otherwise.

Price

Prices on external websites may change because of dates, demand, taxes, fees, currency, availability or the provider’s own pricing rules.

Payment

Where payment is made directly to an external provider, that provider processes the transaction under its own payment terms and policies.

Cancellation & Refunds

Partner bookings may have their own amendment, cancellation and refund conditions. Review those conditions before completing the purchase.

Customer Support

The booking confirmation should show whether TMG, the external provider or another supplier is the appropriate contact for a particular issue.

Provider Terms

A third party booking may also be governed by the external provider’s own terms, privacy practices and other applicable policies.

Contextual Disclosure

Important disclosures should appear close to the decision.

Where practical, TMG aims to identify a partner supplied or affiliate booking close to the relevant recommendation, button or booking card instead of relying only on this page.

Example Disclosure

Booking provided by selected travel partner.

Where an affiliate commission may apply, the surrounding booking context should make that commercial relationship clear.

Recommendation Standards

A commercial relationship should not become a disguised recommendation.

Relevance First

A partner option should be shown because it may be useful to the traveller, not merely because a commission may be available.

No False Endorsement

TMG should not imply that it is an official website, representative or endorsed agent of another company unless that statement is accurate and authorised.

Current Information

Availability, rates and provider conditions can change. The external provider’s current booking screen and confirmation should be checked before payment.

External Websites

Leaving Thrill My Guide may mean entering another company’s service.

External websites operate independently from Thrill My Guide. Their content, technology, pricing, availability, terms, privacy practices, payment systems and service delivery may change without TMG controlling those changes.

Travellers should review the provider’s current information before completing a transaction, particularly where cancellation conditions, taxes, fees, entry requirements or time sensitive availability matter.

Traveller Check

Before you pay, know who you are paying.

Who is the merchant?

Check the company receiving your payment.

Who confirms the booking?

Check which company issues the confirmation.

Which cancellation rules apply?

Read them before completing payment.

Who should I contact?

Use the support route shown in the booking confirmation.

Related TMG Standards

Read the rules that apply to your journey.
