Traveller first
We begin with the traveller’s purpose, people, time, pace and practical needs before pushing a destination or package.
Thrill My Guide Travel Standards
Thrill My Guide is an outcome first Travel Discovery Platform. We use clear standards to decide what we publish, recommend, verify and sell, so a traveller can understand not only what we suggest, but how we reached that suggestion.
You should not have to trust something simply because we wrote it.
These standards show what we check, what we can verify, what remains personal experience, what comes from an external provider, and where evidence has limits.
Why we publish our standards
Travel recommendations can influence money, time, comfort, expectations and sometimes deeply personal moments. We therefore want important recommendations to be understandable, reviewable and honest about their limits.
We begin with the traveller’s purpose, people, time, pace and practical needs before pushing a destination or package.
A stronger marketing sentence is never more important than accurate evidence and proper context.
We do not use invented ratings, fake scarcity, fictional traveller stories or unverified transformation claims as proof.
When another provider supplies a hotel, flight, activity or other service, we aim to make that relationship clear.

Recommendation standard
A recommendation should make sense for the person receiving it. We look at fit first, then practical reality, then the journey itself.
Travel Discovery standard
Travel Discovery exists to understand the person before narrowing the journey. It may consider who is travelling, available time, previous experience, pace, comfort, mobility, budget, spiritual preferences and the reason the journey matters.
Sensitive answers should only be used where they are relevant to the requested service. Travel Discovery is not a medical diagnosis, therapy session or guarantee that a journey will create a particular emotional or life result.

Expert Curated Journey standard
An Expert Curated Journey should make practical travel decisions easier. Before a journey is presented as curated by TMG, the important operating details should be reviewed as far as reasonably possible.

Creator Journey verification
Creator Journeys are useful because another person has lived the sequence, learned from it and can share first hand context. Their experience is evidence of their experience. It is not proof that another traveller will have the same result.
Local information standard
Temple timings, festival schedules, entry rules, transport, ticket systems, local closures, prices, weather related access and queue procedures can change. Information that can materially affect a journey should be checked against an appropriate current source before it is treated as current.
Where useful, TMG may combine official information with first hand field observation and local knowledge. A local opinion should not silently replace an official rule, and an old source should not be presented as current simply because it ranks well in search.

Supplier and partner standard
Thrill My Guide may provide some journey services directly and may help travellers access hotels, flights, activities or other services supplied by independent travel partners.
When an external provider controls inventory, live price, payment, cancellation or availability, TMG should not present that inventory as if it were owned or controlled by TMG.
TMG also considers applicable consumer transparency requirements. The
Department of Consumer Affairs
publishes India’s Consumer Protection framework and E Commerce Rules.
Research and evidence standard
Travel can involve research, history, culture, spirituality, personal experience and belief. TMG should identify which kind of evidence supports a statement before deciding how strongly that statement can be written.
This allows us to discuss modern research, ancient Indian knowledge, pilgrimage traditions, creator experience and optional spiritual interpretation without pretending they all carry the same kind of evidence.

Systematic reviews, major consensus, strong institutional or government evidence.
Relevant primary research with appropriate design and limitations.
Smaller studies, pilots, early evidence and observational findings.
Historical texts, cultural traditions, scriptures and established traditional systems.
Interpretation from an appropriately qualified practitioner or established professional framework.
First hand traveller experience, field observation and documented case material.
Astrology, spiritual interpretation and faith based meaning, clearly labelled as such.
Claim strength must match evidence strength.
Traditional practice should not be rewritten as scientific certainty. Personal experience should not become a universal promise. Early research should not be presented as settled evidence.
Editorial, AI and human review
TMG may use digital tools and AI to help organise research, compare information, structure drafts or support production. Important factual, commercial and trust decisions should still receive human review before publication.
Google’s
people first content guidance
encourages original information, clear sourcing, first hand expertise and transparency about who created content, how it was produced and why it exists. Those principles closely match the standard TMG aims to follow.

Traveller stories and image authenticity
TMG may use designed or generated visuals for illustration where appropriate. An illustrative image should never be presented as documentary proof that a named person completed a journey or achieved a particular result.
When a real creator, traveller story or testimonial is presented as proof, the identity, permission and relevant experience should be documented.
Pricing, advertising and commercial transparency
A traveller should be able to understand what is being offered, what it costs, what may change, what is included, what is not included and who is responsible for the service.
Do not use a zero price as a placeholder for a paid service. Starting prices, custom quotations and unavailable products should be described accurately.
Do not create false sold out messages, invented booking counts or artificial urgency.
Claims should be specific enough to understand and modest enough to support with real evidence.
Where a commercial relationship could affect how a recommendation is understood, disclosure should be reasonably visible.
For endorsements and creator advertising, TMG takes account of the disclosure principles published by the
Advertising Standards Council of India
.
A material commercial relationship should not be hidden in a way that could mislead the audience.
Travel That Changes You is our positioning. It is not a guaranteed result.
We design journeys around better questions, better fit and more meaningful use of travel time. We do not promise that every journey will change every person’s life in the same way.
Accessibility, privacy and traveller safety
Where verified, travel information should surface practical mobility factors such as walking, stairs, rest requirements, local transport and accessibility limitations.
For digital accessibility, TMG uses the
W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines
as an important reference for improving usability.
Collect information for a clear purpose, use it carefully, avoid unnecessary collection and never describe ordinary website security as an absolute guarantee.
No itinerary can remove every travel risk. Weather, health, local conditions, crowds, transport and supplier operations can change. Safety information should be practical, current where possible and honest about uncertainty.
Corrections and content updates
Travel information changes. Evidence changes. Suppliers change. Sometimes we simply make a mistake. When meaningful new information appears, the right response is to review the page and correct it.

Our boundaries
A trustworthy travel platform also needs to know what it should not claim.
Understanding TMG labels
Accountability
A standards page only matters if there is a way to question it. Travellers, creators, partners and readers can contact TMG about factual errors, unclear disclosures, outdated information, privacy concerns or another issue that may need review.
Travel Standards explain how we work. They do not replace the specific legal, privacy or booking terms that apply to a service.
The traveller still comes first
You do not need to arrive with the perfect destination or package. Tell us who is travelling, what matters, how much time you have and what you want the journey to give you.
