Your journey, day by day
The temple is not a checklist. Here is how we plan the days around it.
Day 1 begins with Mahakaleshwar in every pass. The second and third days change depending on the journey you choose. Actual temple timings, travel arrival and weather can change the order.
Day 1 · The Mahakal experience
Arrive properly. Then give Mahakal the attention you came for.
After your pickup, settle into the hotel, freshen up and have time for food. Mahakaleshwar darshan remains the main experience, followed by Mahakal Lok and nearby Harsiddhi Mata when conditions permit. The evening may include Ram Ghat if your family's energy and temple timings allow.

Day 2 can include Kal Bhairav, Mangalnath, Sandipani Ashram, selected local temples and departure. If Bhasma Aarti has been officially confirmed, the morning and rest plan adjust accordingly.
Pass 2 · Maa Baglamukhi at Nalkheda
Day 2 is reserved for the road journey to Nalkheda and darshan. It is not combined with a packed Ujjain sightseeing schedule. Day 3 covers remaining Ujjain priorities and departure.
Pass 3 · A lovely Indore finish
Day 1 Mahakal, Day 2 Nalkheda, and Day 3 a thoughtfully chosen Indore route: Khajrana Ganesh, Chhappan Dukan and local shopping. Pitru Parvat may replace a stop only if the departure time supports it.
Where should you stay?
For early Mahakal darshan, Ujjain is usually the better base. If your final departure is from Indore, TMG reviews the hotel zone and transfer plan with you. The night count stays fixed for your chosen pass.
Rituals with respect
A meaningful temple visit begins with knowing what you are doing.
Some travellers want a simple darshan. Some ask about Rudrabhishek, early prayers or particular local traditions. We help you understand options and coordinate legitimate arrangements if they can be confirmed. A ritual or aarti ticket is never guaranteed or silently included.
Meals and hotel comfort
Prayer feels better when everyone has eaten and rested.
MAP covers breakfast and dinner at the selected hotel. Food choices and meal breaks can be planned around children, seniors and guests who prefer Jain food. Other purchases remain your choice.
Pass 3 · The detail people remember
What to wear should not become a last-minute family discussion.
For the Indore experience, we can suggest simple, appropriate looks for temple time, the food stop and local shopping. These are practical ideas, not an expensive personal stylist service.
Time for your people
The memories are often made between the big stops.
A few quiet minutes at the river, a family breakfast, a good conversation in the car. This is why we avoid promising every temple to every group. The plan should fit the people travelling.

Why are the three Mahakal passes priced differently?
Pass 1 provides an overnight Mahakal-first stay. Pass 2 adds a second hotel night and a full Nalkheda Maa Baglamukhi day. Pass 3 adds an Indore experience and suitable transfer for ₹2,000 more per person. The same standard land-package inclusions apply to two or more travellers.
Will TMG guarantee VIP, Sheeghra or Bhasma Aarti access?
No. Temple authorities control tickets, access, timings and procedures. TMG can help with the applicable official process and adjust the route, but no restricted access is guaranteed.
Are hotel, meals and airport transfers included?
Yes, the chosen pass includes its listed hotel nights and MAP hotel meals. Local transfers are included as shown for the pass. Home-city flights, trains, special temple fees, personal purchases and route upgrades are excluded unless your written confirmation adds them. Indore airport arrival is planned around the selected journey and meeting point.
Can I complete Ujjain Travel Discovery after booking?
Yes. You can book first, then complete or link the Discovery using your booking reference. A TMG travel expert reviews the details, contacts you and then prepares the personalised plan.
Can I add Omkareshwar to the same trip?
For two Jyotirlingas and a longer circuit, choose the separate Ujjain–Omkareshwar–Indore tour package, where the extra travel time, hotel and temple visits are planned properly.
What if we have parents or younger children?
Share the ages and walking needs in Ujjain Travel Discovery or the booking notes. Route planning can allow for meals, resting, vehicle access and fewer optional stops.
